AMP was founded in 2008 by graphic designer, Alanna (that's me). I have loved art and all things creative since 1984, when I was born. If there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I absolutely do not exaggerate. Ever. ;) But seriously, I have a passion for creativity.
BACKGROUND
I was first introduced to graphic design at the University of Maine, where I majored in journalism, with a concentration in advertising. After college I began working with an ad specialties agency where I quickly became "the graphics department." I fell in love with branding and logo design in particular, so I made it a priority to learn more about it. Soon after, I found myself doing an innumerable amount of pro-bono work for friends and family. I guess I shouldn't say pro-bono; my family paid me in food, and my friends remained my friends. Gotta hold on to 'em somehow. I founded AMP so that I could spend more time doing what I love, graphic design, and so that I could make money doing what I love. The rest is history!
GOALS
1. To learn everything there is to know. Because this is an impossible venture, I will settle for learning something new everyday.
2. To create thoughtful, lasting, and visually appealing identities and graphics.
3. To make people happy.
